LOOKING FOR LONG TERM PARTNER. DO NOT BOTHER WRITING ME IF YOU INTEND TO USE ME AS A FANTASY FULFILLER ALONE. LOOKING FOR GREAT STORY WRITERS.

Hello. Welcome to my request thread. I’m currently in serious need of writing something mind-blowing. My favourite writing partner is for the time being unavailable, and I really miss writing. I have high standards because of her, so I will be a bit picky. Please send me a sample of your writing when you message me. Do not send me smut!

I am in a supernatural, demon-heavy mood, and a dystopian sci-fi or philosophical sci-fi mood as well. I don’t necessarily have any clear plots at the moment, but I was thinking we can come up with something together.

On my website below, you can read my demon lore. I really prefer my demons over most others. I enjoy plots where demons mess with people! And where we get to experience their culture.

Please drop by! You can find more information below, but please keep in mind the plots are from 2 years ago and I might not be as excited about some of them anymore.

See you soon I hope!

PREFERRED ROLEPLAYING STYLE ADDED

NEW PLOTS ADDED.

NEW EXPLANATION OF WHAT I CRAVE.

Fantasy & SciFi, especially steampunk & Post-apocalyptic, gothic horror and dark scenery still my favourites.

Also kind of REALLY missing vampire-demon-supernatural plots.

I am waiting.

Hello everyone.

Here’s a little about me: I started this adventure by getting into fanfic, as many of us do. I ended up loving reading and writing off it, and have started properly writing since. However, university started, I got sick of getting ghosted on every website, and I (tragically) abandoned the whole endeavour. I write descriptive, long posts, but I don't overdo it just to write more. I end up running with my imagination and throwing a novella at my partner. I understand this is not appealing to everyone, so please only consider this if you are okay with longer posts. Sometimes I only write 2-3 paragraphs, too. I just wanna do the story justice and I do what feels natural.

I am VERY IN LOVE with anything fantasy, horror, sci-fi, and anything in-between. I honestly enjoy pretty much anything, but I tend to quickly lose interest in heavily romance-centric plots (unless they're genuinely, truly interesting). I do not mind romance, and a little prelude to smut is okay, but that is really not why I write or why I am here. However, do note: if the romance is really well-written, it happens organically, and it's just fun and kinda fire, I will definitely not reject it.

Other than basic life things, I will probably reply within a day or a few (depending on the muse). I am very excited about this, so I will most likely be moderately active over a steady rate. The more stories and partners I have, they more I'm gonna be inspired and not be inspirationally dry for all stories :).

A note on ghosting:
I got discouraged from roleplaying because of ghosting. I hate it. Despise it. If you are in the habit of commonly ghosting people, not even bothering to send a polite "I lost interest" message, do not bother. I will not like it. It would be a waste of our time. I get very excited and invested when the inspiration hits, I go all out, and I put in quite a bit of effort. I repeat, no ghosters. HOWEVER, I understand that life can happen, definitely, there is no pressure there, and busy people with quality writing are worth waiting for.

I am pretty open when it comes to violence, gore, terrifying/fucked up psychological horror, etc. If we hit a certain limit, we can talk about it. Thanks to the website's policy, we should all be relatively mature adults about such things here.

Fandoms: To be honest, I haven't written fanfiction in years, maybe even more than a decade (I suddenly feel old), but if you have something good going and I like the world, I will participate.

Quality: I don't expect GRRM, but you must be understandable. Decent grammar and punctuation can make the world function better, don't you think?

Lastly: I recently had the pleasure of remembering how my favourite roleplay of all time went. I will tell you here my roleplaying style; this is genuinely the most surefire way to keep my interest for the long run!

So: in my absolute favourite roleplay of ALL TIME, we had a really cool way of doing things. We'd basically have a main character, each of us. Whether they already knew each other or not—didn't matter. Then, we'd set up our world, our world rules (e.g. Earth but magic is real/demons exist/angels exist etc etc), nothing too extensive, just enough to get us started. The details of our main starting place would be pretty much worked out before we start. Then we play it like this:

1. We don't have to have our MCs end up together
2. We add characters as needed and as the story progresses (as we grew as writers and roleplayers together, we got to a point of juggling 20+ characters each! DEEP INHALE UGH I CAN JUST FEEL THE JOY).
3. Our MCs could fall for anyone your character tells you they like, even each other. Full stop. You don't control their feelings. We just listened (super. Fun.).
4. This basically translates to: I will naturally play a character I think yours would be interested in, if it naturally comes up. It's so unbelievably fun to do 'evil things' and come up with a character I believe your character (and maybe a little bit you :p, I encourage OOC getting to know each other!) would find attractive.
Please note: I am super evil in this regard, in a very fun and mischievous way. Think: writers killing off your favourite character and making you suffer but you love it and (love to) hate them at the same time.

I am currently like the barren wastelands I tend to enjoy writing about: mainly kind of lost in a trance of aimless ideas that need to be solidified into something more. I am open to your ideas, too, so throw them my way.

Some brief idea descriptions:

  • A sci-fi-fantasy setting where a planet has been destroyed ahead of its time because a powerful wizard from another planet has been harvesting its host (magical energy) star's power, and the harvesting mechanism's failsafe got triggered. Scattered, the surviving civilisation must find a new home and the criminal mage to bring to justice.
  • A futuristic cyberpunk Ancient Egypt with an all-powerful godking (pharaoh). The possibilities are endless!
  • Graphic warning: A family of strange cannibals that are also flesh/blood mages that live in a flesh forest. Yes, an entire forest made of flesh and sinew. The inhabitants are probably not really humans.
  • A post apocalyptic wasteland steampunk setting, where terrifying monsters roam the lands and cults and helpful communities are scattered throughout.
  • A traveling circus of freakshows that are actually magical, rather than freaks, who use their magic to perform without it being obvious that it is magic. The whole thing is a masquerade for elite monster hunters who keep towns safe.
  • Another monster hunting idea? Why? Yes. Another one, about an obsessive monster hunter-scientist who seeks to understand (while defending the world against) monsters. The setting would be Victorian, so a bit of a historic element too. He has some issues with his brother's judgemental attitude and poetry and girl obsessions. They are some kind of nobles, so money is not an issue for him. But the rest of the world, and mostly people, are issues for him.

More Plots:
Please find more plots here. This is just my website where I put a large majority of my fictional creations. These are old, so please ignore the [taken] labels. Even if we don't follow these to the letter, they should be good launching points to new stories.

NEW Plots:
  • A story that takes place in some kind of ancient jungle-temple, full of dangers and mysteries. Can be any jungle theme, with more of an adventuring bend.
  • CYBERPUNK. HIGH SCIFI. Throw it my way. I NEED TO BE IN A DYSTOPIAN FUTURE, FULL OF SPACE-FARING CIVILISATIONS AND INSANE TECHNOLOGY. Please. World destruction. Apocalypse. Post-apocalypse... a society at its height of utopia, soon to be toppled by a rebellion?
  • I want to play a girl who's entirely insane and has the ability to use scissors to lethal extents, be it magical or simply through pure force. An asylum setting or a similar horror setting would be perfect.
  • I want to write a story in an asylum that maybe has people presumed insane, even though they simply see the supernatural. Maybe some of them ARE supernatural.
  • A STEAMPUNK STORY where maybe our characters attend a prestigious institute. Think airships, innovation, adventure... maybe the institute gets attacked by some mysterious group, our characters end up involved in the mess somehow, and we have to find out what happened so we can save our city?
  • A post-apocalyptic world that's gone to shit because of giant mechanical robots. Most buildings were destroyed. Time would be around modern times but with slightly better tech, at least what remains of it. Idk about your character but mine would come from a city ruled over by a tyrannical 22-24 year old. They have a big fighting ring and the whole city thrives on fighters, violence and strength. Their cells are often in use and people who commit whatever 'crimes' the Beast Lord (the tyrant) doesn't like are thrown into jail.
  • Zombie apocalypse in the future, anyone?
  • I wanna play a brilliant scientist in any plot. Someone exceptionally clever. A genius, if you will. Any plot where they might fit, I'll consider.

And many more stifled ideas just waiting to burst to the surface.

Lastly: as is common sense, godmodding, breaking site rules about age and other common unfun practices are things I will never entertain.

Thank you for clicking on and reading my post. Hope to hear from you soon!

EDIT: Some plots have been claimed! If I think of new ones, I'll add them, but this doesn't mean we can't think of new ones together, so do not hesitate to message me for some brainstorming.

EDIT 2: Added new potential plots. Links to my website.

EDIT 3: Got new ideas and added even more plots! I am super excited to try those, too!

Hello, world!

I come to you, impassioned and full of thoughts, emotions and ideas, and I need to express them somewhere!

I am now on the hunt for an emotionally-poweful, intense, wild plot. Full of twists and turns, and crazy events!

I'm talking gods, or mortals who wish to become gods... people so powerful, a battle could destroy cities! Because, why not?

I have added some new plot ideas above. Some things are just general and I want them. A bit vague but I want to flesh something out, something new, with any potential partners! I NEED. To. Write. More.

I am also craving something really new, so if you wanna throw it my way, please do.

COME FIGHT ME?

NOTE: STILL NOT INTERESTED IN SEXUAL CONTENT.

EDIT 4 & 5: New descriptions added, new plots added.

EDIT 6:

I still want to RP cyberpunk stuff, post-apocalyptic magic things, and fantasy/scifi etc are still up for grabs.
I also have a world started in an rp I sadly lost because my partner lost interest, but the world I built in it with them is very appealing to me and I love my characters. If you like what you see in here please message me!

I am trying to be more active again so hit me up!!

EDIT 7: I added my roleplaying style—in detail!!

So down for an apocalypse roleplay!!
Hello,

I also really like the sound of the below plot point - would you still be interested @Vincious Macabre ?
  • A sci-fi-fantasy setting where a planet has been destroyed ahead of its time because a powerful wizard from another planet has been harvesting its host (magical energy) star's power, and the harvesting mechanism's failsafe got triggered. Scattered, the surviving civilisation must find a new home and the criminal mage to bring to justice.

Think I'll throw my hat in the ring. I have 2 worlds built already, links are in my signature. The First is Crimson Ambrosia, which is an original plot based on themes from Trinity Blood and Vampire Knight, the manga. The second is Flock to Infinity, a post-apocalyptic world where supernatural beings exist with vampires, fairies, and werewolves. That world is almost entirely fleshed out. Just needs a map, and I have several characters made for that world as well. I also prefer FTB and decent grammar, let me know by shooting me a DM!

To make it easier to see, I am putting this in a separate reply: my current inspiration is for a story in this world I started coming up with on the spot the other day:

Perhaps a world that has a periodic “ash storm” that you basically have to hide from or become some kind of mutated, maybe deranged being… most people travel with masks, but all it does is slow the harmful effects of the ash (which slowly degrades your mind and transforms you over YEARS) and the other stuff floating in the air (imagine almost a monochromatic landscape, buildings coated in soot, dead trees with twisted spindly branches, sometimes covered in a white layer like snow…).

Some people worship this ash, like it’s a “fog god” or something, this unknowable powerful being come to punish them for their personality/mental inadequacies, which could be very normal traits that different groups and clans/bands of people decide are bad. You have scattered settlements, mostly groups of 10-30 people, but sometimes you have larger, more permanent communities, like mostly neighbourhood sized, occasionally village/town sized. I’d say maybe there’s one major network where people do trade, train, practice different things, learn medicine from others, that kind of thing. The world is much more reliant on people’s individual knowledge.

Maybe there’s a spot where a library was preserved underground, but you have to be lucky enough to find it.

I think it would be really really cool if we have creatures that got transformed by the ash, maybe normal animals that got mutated. I’d love to design 5 or more myself, with more open for whoever joins, and then just see what comes out. Maybe we’ll find a theme for such creatures. We can also discuss otherworldly beings, maybe otherworldly entities…

As for how the calamity even took place, I’m unsure yet. Maybe it is magical/alien, maybe it came from below, maybe it’s war aftermath, maybe it’s some kind of ghostly/paranormal event that took over the planet and changed it forever. Something triggered it. Maybe it was slumbering and it finally came out for some reason… maybe people became so damn corrupt that it awakened. It could be some kind of really ancient creature, perhaps it’s like the first goddess or something, who got sealed away by a culture who used to revere her and then began to fear her, which drove her mad. Imagine a being with these spindly, tar-like vines of shadows coming out from her whole body, which itself is made out of this material, all linked to a subterranean network of vines and roots etc, turning everything to ash… just one of many possible ideas. We can also decide to just explain the calamity, the current state, and then find out through our characters what caused it, if you know what I mean?

We could also go with a fully alien planet, maybe we have humans or something like humans, among a couple of other species? I’d really enjoy designing a whole planet my writing partner tbh!

Although I’m open to many offers right now, I am really interested in this one at the moment!
