What's the plot? Right now, I see a lot of character talk, but what sort of story/setting are you looking at? The best MCU movies have a strong genre feel alongside the superhero shenanigans.

Determining that feel you're going for should really inform the sort of characters people play.
 
Yeah, and another question along that vein is, is smut allowed, and if so, what would be the proportion of story to smut?
 
Oh… I'm sorry for mentioning it then. But now come to think about it, smut wouldn't really work in a group RP. So maybe if two parties agree to it they can just take it to DM's.

RPs I have been in that allowed smut devolved into nothing but porn. Plus I check this at work on my phone, last thing I need is the nosy creepy old man seeing and reporting it.
 
Now if two players want their characters to get it on and they want to write it out and the board doesn't have a policy about taking it to PMs that is fine as long as the public thread does a fade to black.

I'm still hammering that out tbh. I have an idea for a character who is an intergalactic agent/cop who is on Earth to be on the lookout for XYZ evil big bad space criminal. Perhaps said space criminal shows up and tries to wreak havoc thus bringing all these heroes together?

Actually RPing in PMs is very against the rules. But smut requires a unanimous vote IMO, so no we wouldn't allow it if it made someone uncomfortable.
 
Taking it to PMs is verboten, but spin off threads are fine. If characters wanted erotic R&R during downtime, they could always create a new thread to explore that without it slowing or affecting the primary group thread.
