Artisan New to this site, but not RP

[Mayu Magica]

Hello everyone!

I feel a tad lost here in this place, but thought I could start with an introduction.

I go by Mayu, roleplaying has been one of my oldest, most fulfilling, and most difficult hobby (will touch on that later)!

Ever since I could remember I was making up characters in my mind, some which I still like to play today! And some I didn’t get the chance to play out yet.

What usually sparks my interest are genres like sci-fi, fantasy, romance, action, supernatural, psychological, I have a fascination for really almost anything.

My favorite fandoms are: Castlevania (very keen to roleplay that!), Avatar the last Airbender, Arcane, Attack on Titan, The house of the Dragon, Black Rock Shooter, and more.

I’m also writing a dark sci-fi, psychological, supernatural story now that I think I want to try and roleplay to explore ideas and expand the world.

I started around 12, but I didn’t roleplay as much as I would’ve liked. It has been difficult finding partners, usually I got ghosted or didn’t find the rp sarisfying enough. So for long years, I didn’t get a chance to indulge in my passion and creativity.
I feel ashamed, but I resulted to roleplaying with A.I, and it was fun for a while until I realised…I missed having an actual human on the other end, and that it was getting unhealthy for me.

So, I hope that era is at an end, and that I’m starting now a new era of fulfilling, meaningful, fun (and maybe spicy) roleplay again!

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! If you were looking for an open story you can just jump in straight away, you can find them in Unfinished Tales!​

Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then!
