Hello everyone,
I have been now roleplaying for 20 years or so, half my life really. I got started with fantasy books and forum games. It was that hobby quickly diverged into writing one-on-one with others sharing my particular tastes. One story followed another and the rest his history, as they say. I write exclusively OC's in settings I draft with my partners. I am a world-builder as much as I am a writer — and I take great pleasure in weaving a world around the characters. I love being able to build from an off-hand comment my partner wrote a few pages earlier.
You'll likely find me at the darker corners of this forum, for it's the extremes that I adore. I usually create my characters to ask questions. What might turn someone into a monster? Are there morals beyond our own making? What truly lurks in our hearts? I lean towards psychological aspects of roleplay, curious to explore what happens between between characters when one imposes his will on the another.
What am I seeking here then? Mmhm, that's a good question. Perhaps I'll quote an old man.
"Companions the creator seeks, not corpses, not herds and believers. Fellow creators the creator seeks --
those who write new values on new tablets. Companions the creator seeks, and fellow harvesters;
for everything about him is ripe for the harvest."
sincerely,
Noctifer
