Howdy folks,

I'm looking for 1-2 more people to join the group RP the Realms of Doom, the story of a group of nerds who sat down one day to play an X-rated version of D&D but got sucked into the world of the game itself and found themselves inhabiting the bodies of their characters. They are now trapped in a world that runs on sex and violence and and trying to find a way home...assuming they don't end up enjoying it too much to ever want to go home.

Obviously this is a smut-heavy game, and will also not shy away from gore when characters end up in combat. The setting also includes elements that may not be to every's comfort such as heavy discrimination and slavery, so just making sure that's out of the way first. Dubious or non-consensual scenes are allowed, but only with the permission of the players of the characters involved.

Currently we have three active players after a couple left, so I'm throwing out a feeler for 1-2 more people who want to join the game. We are currently still early in the story, so I'm looking for people who are willing to be active and help push it forward. In game, the party were sucked into the game by the machinations of their DM Dave, who was secretly a practitioner of dark magic and arranged for the party to unknowingly participate in the ritual to send them into the world he'd written. For any new characters that join the game, rather than them having been there the whole time and not having been mentioned they will arrive at Dave's house and find the rulebook of the game and the abandoned gaming table that's still sparking with magical energy. When they pick up the rulebook to examine it the book will flip open and they will be sucked in as well by the residual energies of the ritual.

Dave Stone, avid table-top gamer, secret dark sorcerer and generally a perverted weirdo, invited his gaming group to his fouse one night to try a new game he'd 'bought', the Realms of Doom. After a fairly normal if quite raunchy adventure in which the players uncovered a cult being run by the Baron of the settlement of Pyrestown, they broke into the mayor's mansion and fought the cult to prevent them summoning their dark god of sex and debauchery Sadommah. Although they defeated the baron and his cultists the summoning was nearly complete, and they had to perform a ritual to redirect the dark energies. Little did they know, those energies were being redirected to our world...

After arriving in the game and getting to grips with their new bodies, our heroes escaped the mansion after the last surviving cultist set it alight to cover up their existence. Now the party is trying their damned hardest to avoid the watchful gaze of the town guard and the Owlcloaks, the secret police of the Dominion of Man who are searching for the Baron's killers. And worse still, Dave himself has entered the world of the game as a god of shadows, using his powers to mess with the party for his amusement.

They have discovered a possible lead on a way home in the form of Zakary Hergorg, a mad wizard who is seeking an artifact that will allow travel of minds and bodies between worlds. They are currently listening to him rant and rave, whilst one member of the party, Kelly Robertson, has gotten herself into a sticky situation involving a magic phallus and a shrinking spell. All the while the Owlcloaks are closing in on their trail, and the acolytes of Sadommah are planning their revenge...

Who your characters are in relation to the party is up to you - they may be someone who normally games with them but were late, or maybe they have some other connection to Dave and had an alternative reason to be there, such as a relation or ex-lover. When they arrive in the game world they will be inhabiting the body of a character than can be of pretty much any fantasy race, gender or class you wish (if they weren't a member of the gaming group, they may instead end up in the body of one of the game's pre-made characters or a creation of the game's random generation tables). We can discuss who they are in and out of the game world.

The setting so far is deliberately only broad strokes to allow players to come up with whatever setting elements they need for the backstory they have in mind, and if they have any ideas they want to suggest whilst in play.

The world that the game takes place in is focused primarily on two continents, separated from each other by a narrow body of water that runs north-south called the Middle Sea. The Western continent is entirely dominated by a singular human supremacist state called the Dominion of Man, which was founded one thousand years ago by a circle of powerful human wizards. The Dominion is split up into several provinces, each one under the rule of a dynasty descended from one of the founding wizards. The dynasties are all almost entirely corrupt and more concerned with squeezing the people for tax money, indulging their hedonistic desires and crushing any fires of rebellion than actually protecting the populace from the threats of raids from orcs in the mountains, undead outbreaks or raiders from across the sea. The heads of the dynasties meet as the Supreme Council in the capital city of Blackhold, a city built around a gigantic citadel carved from obsidian.

All faiths that would challenge the dynasties rule have been outlawed or pushed to the fringes of society; the remaining sanctioned faiths are all quite supportive of their sorcerous masters, and are in bed with them figuratively and literally. Non-humans are treated as second class citizens although they are in theory protected from harm by the law. A human citizen who believes they have been wronged by a non-human or human non-citizen may take them into bondage as a slave, and human citizens may also be enslaved by order of a magistrate if they are found to have broken the law or not paid their debts. Also, there is a loophole that allows the purchasing of slaves from elsewhere who were formally citizens before they were captured.

That elsewhere is the eastern continent, which is known as the Wildlands. The Wildlands are divided up into hundreds of petty kingdoms, greenskin empires, undead plaguelands and more. Giants and monsters stalk the land and the land is littered with ruins infested with demons, however the freedom from the Empire's rule means there are a surprising number of people willing to live there just to get out from under it's boot. There are even multiple cities along the coast which thrive on trade across the sea with the Dominion in goods, slaves, and spices from even more far off lands.

There is also the Frostlands, a continent to the north said to be home to frost giants, warg clans and dark elves that occasionally raid the lands to the south in their mighty dragonships. The Dominion and Wildlands are also both pocketed with entrances to the Underrealm, a network of underground caverns inhabited by goblinoids, arachnoids, ratmen and more. Adventurers occasionally delve into these lands below, and rarely come back.

I lost my passion for this one after taking some time off, and I'm not sure if I want to try to get it going again. I do have some similar concepts rattling about in my brain though, that I might post an interest check for in the near future.
