Hello, everyone! I'm Wyrd. (See what I did there?)

I've doing RP for a long time. Sometimes, I think I'm good at it. Sometimes, other people agree! Otherwise, I like to exercise (get me started at your peril), reading books, comics, history, philosophy, blah, blah, blah. I am very witty and highly interesting! Plus, humble. I'm the BEST at being humble.

RP-wise, I like modern-day or near-future sci-fi, some fantasy, comic book-style settings, and crime stories. I like games with plots, villains, and NPCs. I am not allergic to smut, either, though it can't be the focus of a story or setting. I like talking to my co-players, getting to know them before we play, and being able to talk to them about the game we're playing.

Otherwise, I'm not sure what there is to know about me that is at the cross-section of interesting and appropriate for this thread!

Welcome to, what I lovingly refer to as 'the mad house'. We have a wide range of writers ranging from proffessionals to casual but enthusiastic amateurs and everything in between. There is a little bit of everything here although the leaning is definitely towards the noir. Although that's not to say there is no fluff, there is, you may have to look a little harder for it.

Any problems prod the wonderful staff, they are always available and will help where possible.
Any more general questions, feel free to pop into general chat, there are usually long-term residents like myself lurking. If we can help we will.

I was probably thinking a little more Cthulhu than run-of-the-mill calamari. Though I do miss calamari. *sighs* :)

To me, the funny part is... in a joke with clowns and cannibals, the scary ones are the clowns!
 
....agreed, i fking hate clowns (genuine phobia). I once had to rp with someone who insisted on using a demonic clown as an avatar. I loved his posts but it made me want to cry Every time I saw he had posted.
 
Who is the greatest villain of all time? An f'n clown! :)
