Good day! Call me, Arcana!

I'm new here but definitely not new to the rp scene. I've written fiction stories of all kinds over the last two decades, for both profit and fun! (dear lorte, don't make me say my age) I'm a ghost writer by trade (boo!) And am usually swamped writing commissions and chapters for others stories.

However, the age old itch to write my own tales has reared its head again, and thus, I am on the prowl to meet new fellow writers and embark on adventures that truly tickle my fancy! Consider me returning from a hiatus, so I may be a bit rusty as far as writing with others. But give me a chance to warm up and I promise to knock your socks off!

Awkward introductions aside, please feel free to message me if you'd like to chat or have inquiries! I'm currently looking for some group rps to jump into, but I'm never opposed to taking up some good 1x1s

Welcome to the site! Woo sounds fun ghost writing, but who knows. We have many wonderful writers here so I'm sure you will find some lovely partners soon!

if you havn't already, take a peek at THE RULES and the
HANDY SANCTUM GUIDE. After that you can peek at the request threads to start looking for a partner and story idea that catches your fancy or make one of your own to get the people coming to you.

If you come across any questions as you explore the site, there are always some friendly faces in chat that can help!

Thank you for the welcome! I'm looking forward to writing with folks regardless of writing level. Though I do like a partner who can keep me on my toes! Lol

We have several active groups right now, about 5 of them in the Unfinished Tales forum ranging from fantasy, to post apoc, and even a spicy modern one. I also have a couple DnD high fantasy themed ones. And there are always tons of folks looking for regular one on ones. :)

I'll be sure to lurk through the Unfinished Tales forum once I'm better familar with the site. Spicy rps are very fun but I do love a good DnD-esque adventure!

Thanks so much for going through the trouble of compiling a list for me. I'll be sure to check them and reach out. That is, if you all are still open and accepting site newbies like me lol
 
Hehe yep both of My stories are still looking for a few to replace some that have dropped over time.

Nyxes has room for some as well, and there are some more in the unfinished tales that are drop in drop out and active at the moment. :)
 
Awesome! I'll take some time out and narrow down my options! I'm always a bit apprehensive to drop into rps that are pretty deep into the story, but I'm good to go as long as I get a refresher. I'll be sure to send out questions to relevant parties on character/setting rules and what not if I have any.

Anyway many Welcomes Arcana , As I see Meph has already inundated you with all the good stuff so I am gonna bore you with the basics, which I am certain you know, but it can't hurt right.

So before you set out though I offer you these, a few small hints to help light your way through the Sanctums hallowed and shadow filled halls;

READ the rules. There really isn't that many to make it worth skipping them for an extra 2 mins of your time .As there a couple that differ to alot of other sites and they sometimes trip ppl up.

Have a little look through the Requests thread, to see what ppl expect to find in a RT ....
Then go wild making your own. Remember its just as important to say what you , do NOT WANT , as waxing lyrical about your passions.

When searching for partner , take the time to search at least 3 pages deep on the Requests thread because the bump rate keeps things moving with a quickness.

If you do require guidance feel free to pop into chat , alot of the longer term residents like loiter there and will always help if they can, and if they can't they will point you to someone who can. By all means though visit us down there anyway we are a friendly bunch of miscreants.

Last of all HAVE FUN and enjoy, this is THE most important thing to remember.

Definitely looking for some fun groups and I hear you've got an interesting one up. I may pop in later for a look around~
