Vex Corp is located in the center of Queen Anne district. Before the building was built anyone living on the sections they needed was given a new place to move to along with heavy compensation. No one understood why the CEO wanted that section of the land, only that it was what they had demanded before building the place. Some thought it had something to do with being close to the pier for any large oversea shipments they would order. But that didn't change the fact there were other places for this as well. It will likely remain a mystery though since the CEO never tells anyone the true reasons behind his decisions.
Here you will see all the current tunnels that are connected to Vex Corp, they are all underground and each has its own personal seal-off door. If a certain button is hit at these doors, not only will the room be sealed off but it will also be flooded. Making sure whatever was sealed off hopefully drowns.
Zombie Types(Weakest to Strongest)
The zombies can be either animals or humans. Though when it comes to animals if they are too small the pathogen outright kills the creatures because their bodies are able to handle it. Such creatures are fish, bugs, rabbits, squirrels, small dogs, domestic cats...etc.
Origin - Silver Eyes
These are the basic of the basics, they walk around aimlessly looking for things to eat. Vex Corp deemed them useless and cast them into underground tunnels. Since they are mindless and are attracted to sound and blood, they are easier to kill. They don't run, simply walk. Though they are slow, they are able to hear and smell things from miles away. Making them great use, for other zombies to find new prey. If you see Origin Zombies you can bet they are likely being followed by other kinds.
Bulker - Black Eyes
These ones have somehow grown to be huge and strong, they could tear a human in half if they wanted. At one point these zombies were normal-sized, Bulkers were never anything Vex Corp intended. While these are large and can rip a person in half, they are very slow, even an Origin Zombie could move faster than them. They do have another perk besides being big and strong, their flesh is almost impenetrable, making it harder to kill them even though they are slow.
Electric - Yellow Eyes
These zombies are hell on technology is they get close enough, they can fry the systems with the electronic pulses they create that reach about 6ft out. They are also able to paralyze you if you get hit with a shockwave. Though these zombies tend to stay hidden from the rain....
Swift - Red Eyes
These were made so that the wars could be ended faster, though they turned out to be so wild and crazy that they couldn't be controlled at all. These tend to travel in groups of three, making them even harder to fight off and their speed has made many fall victim. They are also able to sense the first movements their prey is about to make to evade them. Giving them the chance to change their attack and strike a harsh blow.
Healer - Pink Eyes
You thought regenerating Hollows were bad, just try dealing with zombies that can heal other zombies within a 10ft radius. Healers are able to heal the damage done to other zombies which means that the zombie you thought you just killed is about to start walking again.
Shade - Gold Eyes
These zombies can only move during the nighttime, they burn away if they are in the sun. They have perfect eyesight at night and can move as fast as Swift Zombies at times. Shades are dangerous because they don't need to track you down by blood or sound. They can find you just by looking as they have a strange combination of thermal/night vision. Their bodies can also blend well in the shadows, making it even harder to see them at night. And even though their golden eyes should be a dead give away some have thought their eyes to be flashlights of people off in the distance with how brightly they seem to shine.
Ice - Neon Blue
These zombies are cold to the touch and even leave a frozen trail behind them as they walk. Though if it's super warm it melts away. They hate the heat, so if it's hot you will most likely find them somewhere cold. They can freeze things by touching them, it spreads across the surface in a matter of minutes if the touch is continuous. If you get bit you have to worry about your body going into a state of shock due to the cold rushing into your veins.
Toxin - Lime Green Eyes
Their skin alone is like acid and will eat through your flesh if you touch them or if they touch you. They also have a toxic mist they can cough out that will stay around them for about 5 minutes and they can do this 3 minutes after they did the first one. Now if it's a windy day it's not going to last just be sure to be on the side the wind isn't blowing. Their toxin can poison the ground near them, so it's best to burn the bodies fully.
Fire - Orange Eyes
These zombies have skin that is scorching hot and they can decide if they wish to explode on you or just burn you with their touch. They also can spew out a lava-like liquid that burns through things. Your best bet is to find water or an icy area as they don't like it since it can kill the fire in them, hardening their bodies to the point they can't move.
Hollow - Purple Eyes
They were made with the hopes to control Origin Zombies. Vex Corp found they could control the Hollows until they tasted flesh, then they turned crazy. Hollows are the most deadly due to the fact they are smart and they can control all the other zombies. They are also able to regenerate limbs if they consume enough flesh and blood. So out of all the Zombies they look more human and alive than others, the only difference is their purple eyes and their flesh is almost a grey color.

History: Born on Lughnasadh, or August 1st in the Gregorian Year at midnight, Arrow was the product of a ill-fated love between a pair of Vex Corp scientists; one Elizabeth River and one Vincent Banks. His mother was a geneticist, a doctor, responsible for taking blood and running tests on it as well as the general health of everyone at the corporation while his father was said to be a important person in the corporation as well, being a data scientist. The relationship between his parents kept his father there a long time, perhaps longer than intended but somehow they had a falling out while his mother was pregnant. Afterwards they lost touch when his father left the corporation, his father never knowing that his mother was pregnant. Despite her pregnancy, Elizabeth continued working up until she gave birth and afterwards was allowed to raise him at the corporation and have thee months off to bond with the child.
Raised within Vex Corporation, his mother barely spoke of his father, instead raising him as a single parent. She never let her work get in the way of being a parent though being one of the few children there he didn't get much of a chance to socialize with others his age outside of the corporation. His mother would end up becoming pregnant with a second child when he was two years old, however he never knew of the father of his half-sibling but remembers the pregnancy being hard on his mother. Unfortunately, the baby had passed away at birth. However, over the years these friends of his disappeared until there was only himself and another boy left. One day the other boy was taken away and never came back, leaving Arrow the only child in the corporation. Neither his mother nor the adults said anything and after that day, he never saw the other boy's parent either. It had been the same with the other children as well, their parents left or disappeared with their children.
Vex would pay for his education after testing him and getting from his mother who his father was though they made sure that Arrow was loyal to them over anyone else. They couldn't erase the loyalty and love to his mother, however and when he was seven years old he stumbled upon one of the boys that disappeared and that was when he discovered one of the boys was now not the same. That was the day when Arrow discovered that his mother and others were attempting to make zombies. His mother got into an argument with the leader of Vex on a visit to the facility three months later and Arrow paid with his humanity and life. Arrow was taken away from his mother and experimented on by the adults who had cared for him, turning him into the shade experiment, a punishment towards his mother for arguing with the leader. Brainwashed and manipulated, Arrow earned the nickname 'Obsidian' and was tortured and molded. Over time, the brainwashing was no longer needed, his mother's death when he was fifteen causing his mind to snap and he fled with Mortem when Vex's accident happened, now surviving on his own away from what remains of society. Unknowingly, his 'best friend' is really his half-brother and his half-brother is really alive. He would eventually rejoin Vex as he had nowhere else to go and didn't trust people barring Kronus who he sees as a mentor and father figure.

History: February 14th of the year 2005, Kamal was the product of obedience and a ruse between his parents, a way for his mother to be kept in line to quell some of her arguing and that his brother Arrow wouldn't be hurt at all by anyone in Vex. This was nothing but a ruse and his mother readily agreed to protect Arrow and nine months later, he was born in the makeshift infirmary of Vex Corporation. He had a happy childhood, being subjected to the best tutors as his half-brother was and became friends with Arrow, neither child knowing just how they were related to each other. However, as punishment one day, for going topside, Kamal was hit and put into one one of the cages near some of the experimented children....and this was where Arrow found him. The child was emaciated and bleeding from his injuries until his father had him moved from the cell. Kamal was told to never go top side without permission or being escorted by his father, the second in command or the deceased third in command. In fact, it was Kamal being up top one day that caused the third in command's death.
His childhood was otherwise spent being spoiled but towards pre-teen years, starting at 10 he began learning to fight. Like Arrow, he too was manipulated to have ultimate loyalty for Vex Corp and with being the leader's son, it meant his only freedom was until he was three years old...once he became a preschooler his mental manipulation began as well as the occasional physical abuse disguised as 'discipline'. Weapons were not introduced until he was thirteen and he was give a history of the world, including knowledge on American History as well as some other world history and geography lessons which his father considered important. Well aware of the experiments, his father not hiding this from him, saying it was protection for Vex and so they could be used to conquer other countries if needed in the future by turning them into soldiers which was why Vex had been started and that it was government funded. When Vex fell, his father was one of the first to fall but Kamal was being punished again by his father and sent to one of the disused bunkers. None thought to look for him and he was left alone there, injured and having to hide from the failed experiments that were running amok as well as dealing with the ruins of the corporation. It wasn't until a couple months passed that he was found, starving and half wild by a patrol that found him and took him back to Vex after a couple recognized him as Matthew's kid. He was brought back to the new Vex Cathedral and figuratively sold his soul to Kronus, serving as a scout until a lab is properly built to become the first tribrid. Kronus nonetheless continues his training and lessons as he does with Arrow and has only revealed the pair are in fact half-brothers which explains why the children clicked so to speak and became best friends.

Unlike his half-brother Arrow, Kamal was not tortured as a child. It was not until Vex was destroyed that he was experimented on by the geneticists under Kronus's leadership, turning him into the first tribrid experiment.
Like Arrow, he has thermal and night vision due to his shade DNA and as a result his eyes also burn, bleed or bleed burn when switching his eyesight from regular to night (burn), night to thermal (bleed) or thermal night (burn bleed)...however his eyes also burn bleed when using his powers or changing to regular and in solar eclipses which makes him vulnerable. He is also stealthy like Arrow and other shade zombies and experiments.
Due to the fire dna, he is able to withstand hot temperatures and his skin is hot to the touch, able to burn someone if he is touched. Jamal also seems to get more powerful when exposed to sunlight, as if he is soaking its rays into his body. This combined with his electric dna where he can shock someone or even kill them with enough voltage causes the person to touch him to be very careful indeed.
His fire dna allows him to not only burn people but he can also spew liquid on people if he wishes while his electric dna allows him to not only shock people but can also paralyze people as well as emit heat and heat the air to insurmountable temperatures. Electric embers tend to dance across his skin when under heightened emotions or using his powers yet sometimes he will just cause this to happen by thought just to freak people out as well as being able to emit pulses, often around technology but he is learning to do this subconsciously as well.
He hates the rain due to it short circuiting him and it weakens his fire dna as well as water causes fire to sizzle out creating steam, thereby being a double whammy on him as it does with normal fire/combustion and electric experiments & zombies. If one were to someone take away oxygen which is needed needed to fuel his fire and insulated him in some type of non-conducting material, he would be effectively trapped and unable to use either power due to rubber acts as a non-conductor to electricity though it might need to be frozen first to become cold enough to cause him to get cold. Likewise, locking him somewhere cold without any source of heat could also make him useless. He is not vulnerable to being burned himself and tends to smoke afterwards. Unconscious, emotion-influenced, impulsive, or reckless use of this power can be catastrophic therefore he has to be careful when using his new abilities. His eyes are not as sensitive as Arrow's, however he can still be blinded by flashes of light or sudden explosions.
Kamal was experimented on due to Kronus's orders as Kronus wanted to test how far can he experiment with zombie dna in a person with the study of a few questions: How much zombie DNA can you put into a person before they are no longer human, what are the effects physically and psychologically on someone with multiple zombie dna in them, can a experiment with three or more dna be controlled or will they be a failure like the original seven experiments?
Kamal was created to serve as a cover for Arrow for when Arrow refuses or can't go outside in the afternoon due to the sun. Ultimately, Kronus hopes the half-brothers will work together for the benefit of Vex and become an unstoppable team...already coding them as 'Obsidian Phoenix' in his mind.
He shows his leadership skills in bits and pieces, being outgoing and friendly but this really a guise to get people to trust him, however he is these things. He's manipulative, mischievous, cunning and sadistic though has given Vex the same loyalty as Arrow due to the manipulations he also endured by his father which increased when he was taken out of the wreckage of Vex and shows great loyalty to family (aka Arrow), readily accepting his older half-brother and developing a hatred of his deceased father. He tends to use trickery and foul play a lot but if he finds something boring or not worth his time he will not bother continuing the lesson. However, raised in combat skills by his father, where Arrow excels in healing; Kamal is more of a fighter and knows nothing of healing at all. It's not good to upset Kamal or hurt those he cares for because he can be brutal and cruel when fighting or defending those he cares for. He's almost like a rabid dog in that regard.
He loves music, any type of music and occasionally goes on patrols for Vex or supply runs as well as getting lost in art. It's how he expresses himself, however he also enjoys torturing people and seeing them scream. Like Arrow, he has no intention of being cured at all and welcomes the gift as it makes him stronger than he would otherwise be. It's a drastic change from his happy childhood and carefree nature as a child and teenager. There are rumors among Vex that he cannibalizes on people but nobody is foolish enough to ask or find out for themselves. He has a flair for dramatics and takes pride in his appearance, one could see him as vain but he isn't afraid of the darker side of life and death.
Kamal has some manipulation over darkness, fire and lightning elements, often combining these elements to show off or freak people out...sometimes using his manipulation over these elements instead of weapons to fight.

History: Born in Boston, he grew in a loving family with an older brother and loving parents two years after the Vietnam War had ended. Born into privilege and wealth, Kronus wanted for nothing, the same with his brother and they were given whatever they wanted or asked for. Growing up, he and his brother were put into private school, however at age ten he began to rebel against his parents and lifestyle. His parents ended up sending him to boot camp across the country in Utah. He was then sent into military school when he got out when his rebellious nature didn't change, it only got worse after coming back from boot camp, being bullied and abused while there. Still, his parents were surprised and angry when he went into the military upon graduating from high school instead of going to college or a vocational school.
He served in the military for three and a half decades, retiring at the age of thirty-five after getting injured in an IED explosion. During his time in the military, he fought in the Bosnian War from June to the end of the war in 1995 (December 14th), Afghanistan from 1996-1997, Kosovo War from 1998-1999, Operation Enduring Freedom in the Philippines from 2004-2008, Afghanistan from 2009-2012 It was during his second tour in Afghanistan that he was injured in an IED explosion, injuring him. He was sent to a hospital in London to recover. The only reason he did not fight from 2000-early 2004 was because he was a POW. When he retired from the military, he ended up coming home after recovering in London and had to adapt to civilian life again and in 2013, met IIridiumris Wolf. They fell in love and two years later had a child. They had a short life together, Iridium and Patrick being gunned down in a drive by shooting when he was at work. This incident caused Kronus to snap and he hunted down the people responsible before fleeing, joining Vex at forty-one in 2018. He became friends with the leader of Vex Corporation and in 2019 was promoted to third in command, having worked with the children of the corporation and taking an interest in Arrow who was fourteen at the time. When Vex Corp was overrun by the zombies that escaped, he and some others managed to get out of the tunnels but it took a while to find Arrow and now tries to keep both an eye on Arrow as well as build Vex up again from the ashes...but first Arrow needs to bring back those escaped traitors where they belong...for their own safety of course.

History: Rain was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 21st 2003 in UAMS Hospital a half hour after Midnight. Her life was relatively easy growing up, her father a criminal lawyer and her mother owned a beauty parlor, having decided on cosmetology rather than a college career much to her parents' chagrin. Her mother was young when she was born, being thrown out of the house at fifteen while her father was eighteen. Both sets of her grandparents didn't approve of the marriage and thus they ended up sticking around, her father staying away from her mother while her mother lived on the streets, the couple eventually marrying as soon as her mother turned eighteen and got a small apartment together. Some years later, her brother Thames was born and then several years later her sister Ivy was born. Rain was always shy in school but really shined around young children, gardening and animals, usually bringing home stray animals that her parents couldn't keep, whether due to not being allowed pets or not having the money to care for so many. Proving to be studious and hardworking, she managed to graduate high school a year early at 17. After two gap years in which she spent traveling the world and volunteering in an orphanage in Nepal as well as volunteering for the Peace Corps in Africa, she was just getting ready to enter the army when her parents died during the beginning of the outbreak, forcing her to come back and take care of her siblings. She only agreed to end up joining Vex on the condition that her brother and sister be given a place within the group as well, offering to become one of the first new experiments for Vex Corporation to save her siblings from the same fate or being turned out to die or starve.

History: Losing her parents at a young age, she grew up with her cousin Iroh and her uncle Sable Saitou who was a single father himself, his wife having died in a car crash when Iroh was six years old. When Sable passed away when the cousins were in elementary school, Jasmine being in third grade and Iroh being in fifth, they were eventually taken in by someone with ties to Vex Corp and, to repay that kindness, Jasmine decided to work for them when she got old enough though neither knew this right away. It was by pure accident they overheard their foster father speaking of Vex Corp and it intrigued Jasmine. Iroh had no such desire to do so but the cousins continued their education, at least until Iroh was kicked out as a teen. Jasmine continued living with her foster father until she graduated high school, going into Biochemistry and Biophysics with two year degree in Engineering Technology with her major focusing in Neuroscience with a minor in Botany at Oregon State University. After graduating college, she would find herself being introduced to Vex Corp by her foster father and began working there. Even when she discovered exactly what Vex Corporation was doing, this didn't cause her to turn away and run like Iroh.
Instead, this intrigued her and she eagerly worked with other scientists and doctors on the experiments. She never went to graduate school for a master degree but did see Iroh again when she was in her junior year of college and again when she graduated, her cousin telling her not to get involved in anything shady with their foster father. She refused to see reason and he left, thus she only knows he is alive due to seeing him when searching for medical equipment on a supply run for one of the doctors of Vex Corp a few months ago. She helped her cousin get away before he could be used as a test subject, not appearing to mind the experiments that were done on both people and animals. Out of curiosity after seeing some of the failed experiments, she experimented on herself, turning herself into a Hollow-Electric hybrid.
History: When Vex Corp first approached him with a job offer he figured being a janitor wouldn't be a hard job. However, he wasn't sure it would be good enough pay to pay for his sister's hospital bills. Though he didn't have to mention it, they offered to give him a pretty penny to clean up the building, saying they only could trust a select few people to clean and not try and steal anything. He took the job without hesitation, but when he was shown the lower levels and told to clean there it scared him and he didn't know what he had landed himself in. He tried to get away from Vex Corp after finding out their dirty little secrets, but that just landed him in a cage. Soon to fall, victim, just as the others within the building, now all he is worried about is if his sister will be okay with him gone.
History: She hated the fact that a strange illness struck her and landed her in the hospital. She had been enjoying school and being with her family and then it all changed. As soon as she ended up in the hospital multiple times her parents stopped caring. They called her a burden they couldn't handle. She hated herself for it because they also took their anger out on her older brother. Told him to work and do his school to make sure he took care of her. Then one day he came to visit her and told her they just left, but that she didn't need to worry about it. He would take care of everything. It only made her hate herself further, one day when she was scrolling through things on her laptop she got a message asking her if she wanted to be cured. She didn't think twice about it, but in order to be cured she'd have to leave the hospital and she couldn't tell her brother where she was going. It was the only thing that stopped her from going through with it. After a week passed and her brother never showed up she worried, had he left her? Did something happen? Two weeks went by and she didn't care about curing herself anymore, she just wanted to find her brother. He would never just abandon her as their parents had. She found out that her brother had been employed at Vex Corp and went there looking for answers. She came across a woman named Addie and Addie told her she would find out what was going on. However, she didn't get the chance to find out, she had passed out due to the strain on her body and when she came too she was locked away in a cage.

History: Addie was very excited when she got accepted into Vex Corp as one of the doctors there. She wanted to make sure she did something with her life and if any place would allow her to help the most people it'd be Vex Corp. She had no idea about the underground working though. She was simply working happily as she helped people get back to their everyday lives. However, she did think it was odd that a few of the patients just seemed to vanish and there wasn't any record of them having been there. There was one that seemed to stand out to her and it was a girl by the name of Desi. The young girl had arrived in search of her brother that was supposedly working at Vex Corp, but she had found no such person. The girl herself was also rather sickly, and Addie thought she'd be able to tend to her, but before that occurred the girl simply vanished out of thin air. As if she had never existed in the first place, to say the least, it put Addie on edge and she started to notice a few funny things...
History: As a kid Edgar was always smarter than the rest of his peers, he was great at all subjects. But the one subject he excelled in was science, he couldn't keep away all manners of science that caught his attention. As he grew older his interest in science began to terrify his parents, because they caught him experimenting on the family cat. Of course, it was a failure but he had been in the process of trying to figure out why when his mother walked in to get him for dinner. He didn't understand the issue, but his mother fainted and that intrigued him. At one point while in college he even lured his mother to school to test out things on her. Though it was quickly stopped as he hadn't taken into consideration, the cameras that filled the school. After that, his father kicked him from the house and put a restraining order on him. That didn't phase him and it seemed his interest in experimenting on humans had caught the eyes of Vex Corp. He was hired on and found a world he could revel in, it was home sweet home. He was so busy working on the experiments that he lost track of all time.
History: Matthew grew up in foster care, being bounced about from home to home after being abandoned to die in the woods by a young mom. Drugs were found in his system and he went through horrible withdrawals that it was assumed his mother was addicted to something strong. Most of the homes he went to treated him as nothing, being only concerned with the checks they got from the government. His father never came forward and his mother was never found and the couple good foster homes didn't last. One foster home he went to had a ton of foster kids that were treated differently than the biological kids, creating resentment among the foster kids and was run like a mad house, the children being used more for labor than anything and his education suffered for it as did the other children in care. Having no name, he was given the family name of the man who found him, Ashwood, though the man of course disappeared and never sought out the child he had saved.
Matthew's life was a struggle, one he resolved not to let define who he was and though he did get into some trouble and in trouble with the police, ending up in juvenile detention for a while. He'd turn to drugs as well, landing in juvie until he was twenty-one and then spent twenty months in jail. Once he got out of jail, he found himself homeless and on the streets with no high school education. He was forced to find a state that he could go move to in order to go to high school again and continue his education to get his high school diploma though, this new state was where he ended up going to community college while working two jobs to get by after graduating. He still remained on the streets though, finding roadblocks to getting housing with his record.
Despite his life's difficulties, Matthew managed to graduate community college, going on to school and majoring in business after flunking out of med school. With his limited education in pre-med and his business major, he amassed wealth over the years to work to start up a company coined Vex. He made it a legal business but its true purpose was unknown except to those that he hired onto the business and with the wars going on, decided it was good money to make super soldiers. Child to old or even animal didn't matter. When one of the scientists, a woman named Elizabeth River began arguing with him and disapproving of the experiments going on, he promised Elizabeth that he wouldn't allow anyone to harm Arrow. Seducing the woman and lover of one of his other workers who had left, a man named Vincent Banks, this was naught but a ruse, a way to keep Elizabeth in line for she readily agreed to sleep with him and carry his child though the child itself was unexpected, however Matthew certainly didn't do anything to prevent it, being a known womanizer when on the surface.
Once Kamal was born, he had the infant taken from Elizabeth and Arrow, telling Elizabeth the child had died. He then raised Kamal himself though allowed the child to have a 'mother' and 'surrogate father' to pose as his family, eventually having them disposed of. Being a health nut, he raised Kamal as one as well, punishing the child if he went up top without permission or without Matthew himself or one of his assistants or guards. Once Kamal turned ten, Matthew began his training of his son, teaching the boy weapons and other things when he became a teenager, being a harsh and abusive disciplinarian to his son. When Elizabeth ended up dying, well Matthew never saw fit to make mention that Arrow was his older half-brother nor that he'd taken his son from Elizabeth and lied to her about the child.

Somewhat of a health nut so often keeps in shape, forces Kamal to be in shape as well because of it.
Very harsh on both the employees of Vex as well as his son, but he'll do what he can to care for and protect Kamal though he isn't to be crossed, not even by his young heir.
Thinks little of the experiments, even less of Arrow due to Elizabeth's 'mistakes' though does recognize that Arrow has some talent
