The name's Sylvette; but you can just call me Syl, for short. I'm a first-time visitor to the sanctum, but I have been affiliated with the social-writing scene for... over a decade now? Has it been that long? Holy frick!
Admittedly, I am no good at introductions; especially introductions that could be short, sweet, and not lengthy to the point that it could be considered as (well, to me, anyway) long-winded. So I am going to share a little about myself in a bullet point list and will expand the heckity-heck out of it once I get a request thread up and going.

- I am a 20-something-year-old woman who works housekeeping at a local hospital in the Midwest. What a wrong year to get employed, huh?
- My hobbies are as follows: reading, watching YouTube videos and wrestling shows, trying to match the energetic spirit of my female boxer (and failing miserably at it), and playing video games.
- I like to write a lot. I like to build worlds and develop characters, plots, and histories that would shape those universes into flesh.
- The genres that I dig for are the following: fantasy (both high and low), horror (that is human and psychological in nature), romance, and certain fan-fictions that are OC-dominated (let's have some original characters in an already established, or alternatively created, world.)
- The last time I've checked, I am a pretty laid-back person. So feel free to shoot me a PM whether you would like to piece together a story or would just like to chat.
