I'm MalachiteMushroom, and I've been roleplaying for almost ten years now (during one of my first roleplays when I was a kid my brother and I discovered a kitten under the hood of our parents' (who were celebrating their 25th anniversary) car, said cat is actually in my lap right now so that's neat). I enjoy writing a lot and have migrated from a few sites that have become ghost towns, I've never really been on a site with a staff that actively interacts with the rest of us so that's something I'm both curious and admittedly a little nervous for.
Anyway a little bit about me:
-I love roleplaying casually, I'm currently working on a novel so when I do roleplaying I prefer a go with the flow approach. Yeah some structure is handy but improvisation is a huge part of what makes roleplaying fun.
-I love video games of all genres and themes, I'll go from playing Wario Ware to Ori to Bioshock in the span of a day.
-I have approximately too many OCs, most of which have their origins in Pokémon. Some are still trainers or more likely, Gijinkas, but others have become their own thing.
-I love comic based stuff, I just finished Peace Maker and am hoping this means DC has finally found its groove (seriously the opening credits for that show is probably in my top five next to What We Do in the Shadows).
-I like most genres, though at the moment, likely due to the aforementioned novel, am really craving doing roleplays based in existing fiction. World building burnout.
-While I have trouble playing the traditional Monster Hunter games I adore Stories 2, Pukei Pukei is best monster and that is not up for debate. I also kinda unironically loved the movie and hope we'll get a sequel, I need a Kulu Ya Ku stealing a grenade moment.
So yeah, that's me!
