Now, onto the fun part.

We've done a couple challenges now focused on setting. This lead to brilliant work by both our July and our August applicants. This time though, it's all about the characters and the story you put them in. In particular, a relationship that doesn't get as much air time.

Write a fond memory with a grandparent.

As always, the details are up to you. And while this prompt is grounded in reality, you're also free to push the boundaries a little on that.

Reminder: Due to the content of this challenge, please remember our rules regarding children. You ARE allowed to have an underage person as your main character in a challenge. There cannot however be ANY violence or sex whatsoever relating to this person. Anything beyond implication will require a rewrite and serious cases will garner an official warning.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday, September 25th

Best of luck to everyone, we look forward to seeing what you come up with.
