Something a little different. A while ago, I wrote a double story. The second main I introduced was Mike, and his story begins on page 29. Link to complete thread. It's this story I want to pick up, say 15ish years in the future. To avoid using my old writing partner's character, Nick, we will say that Mike was widowed a few years before.
Mike was a very down to earth, working class man, who happened to fall in love with Nick, the first gay Prince in the UK and was thrust into the limelight, becoming the Duke of Sussex. I'm happy to work out a bit of Mike's backstory in the time jump with my new partner to fit the new story, but some details I'd like to keep. Such as Nick's two bio kids, and the plan we had for the pair to adopt Mike's half niece down the line, who was orphaned at birth and whose Grandma is a Catholic Nun living in Ireland. Rest can be negotiated.
Other than that, I think a good gritty MxM romance where we have to navigate grief, second chances, kids, and a good dollop of royal. Mike would be mid 40s, so this wouldn't be young love. I have no wants or needs for YC, as long as they are human and not anti-monarchist!
I like heavy plot. Some smut. I can post multiple times a week, averaging 300 - 1200 a post.
