I'm returning to this forum to test my luck again! I've kind of decided that I probably have to redo this template from scratch, so bear with me that it is a bit messy!
You can call me Morrigan or Morri. As a writer, I'm: consistent, imaginative, and passionate about this hobby. As a roleplayer, I'm: resourceful, dedicated, and enthusiastic for the stories I write.

I've recently consumed media that are set in rather grim, historical settings where some dark fantasy is mixed in. It could be something as simple as a land plagued by vampires, werewolves, and demons, or something akin to Dark Souls or Bloodborne.
The main theme/s I wish to explore are the grimness of humanity, redemption, and good vs evil.
YC would be some kind of knight, mercenary, or soldier. Plagued by his past, he has gone through some kind of physical transformation during his time of service. It could be that he got turned into a vampire or werewolf, or is possessed by a demon. Or if you have a better idea, let me know!
But whatever the reason for his newfound self, he has finally returned home. But home is no longer home. Plagued by -whatever horror we decide should torment this land-, he reached the pessimistic conclusion that nothing really matters anymore.
That's until YC meets MC. A seemingly insignificant streetwalker/pickpocketer, who tried to steal from you. But he never imagined this minuscule inconvenience would lead him into an intrigue of rebellion, resistance, and a dream of a better future.

I've been craving a dynamic that's about a relationship that just doesn't work out. It could be because societal obligations make it impossible for our leads to be together, or they keep ending up on bad terms. Kind of where the lust keeps being so intense that it eventually will turn destructive.
With that said, I'm not seeking a story that will deal with the subject of domestic abuse. But rather a story about two people who keep fucking things up in some way or other. There really is no culprit in the mix, just endless inconveniences that keep tormenting our main leads.
I'm looking for this to be set in either a 18th / 19th century setting or modern. I'm also open to adding fantasy elements like historical or urban fantasy.

This is going to be a more smut-heavy story, set in some type of dystopian future. I envision a mix of The Handmaid's Tale with a sprinkle of cyberpunk. If cyberpunk / dystopian future isn't your thing, I'd be fine setting it in a modern setting.
It was not supposed to happen. In YC's many years of training problematic and unruly sex slaves, he never felt even the tingle of care for the subjects he trained. It had started as a way to live and later turned into an unlawful enterprise where he earned a hefty sum for the women he provided to the elite of -insert city we decide upon-.
But then, he tended to always fly too close to the sun.
He would deliberately pick the women he deemed "a project." Women who would dare to snarl and bite back. Women who were fundamentally broken and not really fit to be turned into someone's pet. Simply, it's a marketing strategy. He would use methods to turn something wild and fierce into something timid and obedient. He could turn whatever was considered impossible into possible.
Or at least that was until he obtained MC. Not only was she marked as too wild and fierce, but also vicious and cruel. Truly, a perfect project for YC. And while he kept calculating the profit he might redeem after selling her to the highest bidder, slowly but surely, he was starting to fall for her.

I know this is very subjective, and I'm not asking to know every detail about your life (I'm not your mom!), but at least tell me if you are still interested and tell me if there will be any delays (or if you are taking a break). If you can do that, it will be a huge plus in my book.
