The best way to describe Ms Tadashi is determined. Determined to get a good story in, determined to get that promotion, determined to earn her rightful respect. In fact, she can be so determined that she nearly borders obsessive, spending long nights & majority of her days focused on just one topic. Apart from her work (of which she cares about most.) Tadashi can seem a little blunt- to put it nicely, socially inept even. Though, her intentions are always good, and morals mostly pure (though it doesn't seem like it.)
B i o :
Born to two superficial diplomats, Ms. Tadashi had lived a life as what most would call the "rich kid." Although in most aspects, Saku had to earn her place as a Tadashi. You see, there is a common saying that falls over many Japanese families, it goes something like "自業自得" which roughly translates to "you get what you put in." As such, Saku had to work- become stellar in every which way, just so she could be considered a reputable & loyal Tadashi. The idiom having lead her all the way to New York City, in which she runs as a well-known & well-respected journalist.
M o t i v a t i o n :
You see, Ms. Tadashi wasn't always so cold & unforgiving. In fact, she was known to have a tiny soft spot for one person & one person ONLY... Until, until that person met their end, that is. It was one of those days- the days in which all of New York fell under rapid fire, targeted by one villain or the next. Y'know, the usual. They'd all been told to stay inside, to find shelter- to keep away from the promising dangers, but due to the lack of time & the large, herding crowd, they'd been separated- torn apart by fate. Luckily, Sakura had been able to find some sort of coverage- while he, well he wasn't so lucky. She watched in terror as he'd been painfully pinned down by rubble, rubble that had seemingly fallen from the sky. He hollered pained pleas to their supposed "savior," cried for help.... But it had been too late, he was gone........ Everyday Saku relives that awful evening, everyday she pins the blame on their supposed "heroes," knowing that in the end, all they could really depend on was themselves, and she's determined as ever to express that.
Q u o t e { s } :
"I have it under control." *doesn't have it under control at all*
"If you're going to do anything, do it with grace, with honor."
"I don't need saving." *Bruh, she's gonna be the BiGgest damsel.*
