Choir ... *blink blink* ... you are SO adorable ...
Hur hur. Yeah, I go lalala for two hours every Tuesday night. We just got our concert/event dates tonight and I'm super excited. :3

Sorry, I've been trying to juggle writing, home life, and my job, and I've got a hockey tournament this weekend, so I won't even be at my computer again until at least Sunday. I'm sorry for dropping the ball.

I should also mention that I'm changing up my character. I feel like we have the construct-based power compliment covered, so I'mma go half-kryptonian. I have a story plotted out too. I'm just waiting for a nod of approval from the Monit-I mean ... Peaches.

ARIGHT! Story time:

It's been a year since a massive rift opened in space. Darkseid, hoping to pull his own planet through into orbit with earth, was thwarted when all of earth's most powerful superheroes travelled through to stop him, battling him at the threshold until a ground team found a way to destabilize the portal. They were all trapped in the process, leaving the world in shock. It was only weeks before the world's super-criminals, their ranks unaffected by the event, began to operate again, now with relative impunity.

Heroes are outnumbered, police are outgunned, and even massive support from companies like Luthor Corp cannot seem to stem the tide of crime. Unbeknownst to our heroes, or anyone really, there is a hand at work, guiding activities in hopes of reopening the rift to Apokolips. This shadowy figure is the half-new god son of Darkseid, born in secret among the amazons (like Grail). He works to resurrect his father, to reopen the rift, or to bring the forces of Apokolips through to conquer earth.

He finds out too late that the real plan is to channel Darkseid's essence into him like a backup body, and then Darkseid sees that the superheroes have mostly been stranded on Apokolips, and decides to just bring his forces through to conquer a new, defenceless planet, while effectively laying siege to the heroes by trapping them on the harsh planet for a prolonged stay.

I like it. Fits the power level and general lack of 'heroism' among the proposed characters.

Good to know my intimidating presence was enough to get answers. :P
Looks like we're good to go @Neon Valkyrie
