I'd rather Cassie not be the first person to respond to the scene. Her entire thing is she doesn't want to be a 'hero' so her showing up first is an odd fit narratively.

That makes sense. Before anyone posts, we should probably determine an order anyway. That way, we're all on the same page and we don't have anybody posting ten posts where others are making one or two. It'll be a slower-moving thread, but I've had the most success in the past when there's been a set order and any small dialogue either happens in a joint document and is then posted by the person whose turn is next or by an agreed back and forth interlude.

What are everyone's thoughts on that arrangement?

*hair is a wild birdsnest* I just woke up, but I am certainly in favor of adding more characters.
Baxter's idea of a posting order is good too, or we could do rotational position, ie you can post whenever, as long as 3-4 people have posted since your last message.

EDIT: OMG, PEACHY, I MEANT PEACHY'S IDEA!

Aaand, for anyone interested in joining, below is the roster of players, their characters, and a terse, suggestive, if not insulting explanation of their whole ... thing ...
@SilentFairy - Raven - Zatanna traded in those fishnets for daddy issues and goth-liner
@Raptor - Jason Todd - Damian Wayne, all ... grown ... up ...
@Sanity43217 - I want to be your *Synth* Greg Hammer - He only needs four more Infinity Stones!
@Baxter Peters - Cassie Swift - DC Comics presents 'The Darkness'
@Peachy00Keen - Koriand'r - an unlicensed Supergirl porn parody
@Neon Valkyrie - Petra - Assassin's Creed: Themyscira, the director's cut.
@Semi-Sweet - Callias - Kenwood, the witch boy

Hey, everyone! I was part of that RP Peachy was talking about where she played Starfire before. Back then I was playing Raven, but she got taken before I had a chance to claim her. So if I can't play the daughter of the demon, I'll play the son of the sorceress.

Name: Callias Colchis
Alter ego: (None yet)
Background: One of Circe's offspring, Callias was born from the union she made with the demonic sorcerer Myrddin during the time of Camelot. Growing up under his mother's tutelage, gave him a lot of practice with sorcery and witchcraft, but an extremely limited experience with the outside world as she would refuse to bring him on her trips to spread chaos in the world, and the few that made it to their island would end up either joining her army of beastiomorphs or be put to death. Once Circe took on the persona of Donna Milton and forgetting her own identity, Callias saw his chance to leave Aeaea and join modern society. This was fortunate as the ordeal left Circe with the one thing she desired most: a daughter. Now, years later, Callias has managed to stay under the radar and out of any crises. However, that might all change soon.
Powers and abilities: Like his parents, magic is in Callias' blood. This in itself gives him a few magical advantages such as eternal youth, making him appear as 23-year-old, though he is centuries old. When producing magical shields and destructive blasts his magic takes a pink hue. With his many years of living with his mother, he holds quite a deal of knowledge on the occult.
