Part of him wanted Maverick to resist and run from him again. It would give him the reason he needed to punish him. Not that he needed a reason, but he liked having one. The finger that had been swirling around inside his drink was finally removed and Sagittarius licked his finger with his tongue, a little bit sensually.
Within a millisecond, he'd engulfed the entire finger into his mouth as he sucked all the liquid off it, removing the digit from between his lips with a 'pop'. Maverick's tone of voice when he spoke of him being a snake made Sagittarius chuckle. "Feisty as ever, that's what I liked about you back in the old days." He said.
As Maverick slapped some money down on the table, Sagittarius sensed he was going to try and make a run for it now and a smirk came to his lips. Great idea. If he chose to defy him again, he'd be that much harder on him later. Maverick's leg lashed out and managed to make contact with the chair's legs, toppling it over.
Sagittarius was quick enough to avoid getting knocked down by sidestepping at the last second and stared at Maverick's swiftly retreating back. The man reached for the drink he'd bought and downed its contents. After putting his own money down to pay, Sagittarius got up and made his way to the entrance once again.
The man wasn't in any rush, he could afford a few seconds. It wasn't as if Maverick could go anywhere that fast without him being able to find him. Upon stepping outside, Sagittarius could spot Maverick still trying to run towards the main roads. It was a perk of being that much taller than most people anywhere now.
There also weren't many people around at the moment, so that also helped him track down his prey. Sagittarius began his slow walk towards Maverick, not caring to rush because how could he ever escape from him? As long as he had him in his sights, he'd eventually catch up to him. The thrill of the chase was such fun.
He'd let Maverick think he could escape until he became bored. Or Maverick managed to elude his vision. Once Maverick ceased to be interesting, Sagittarius would take him again. Until then, the game of cat-and-mouse was on now. He really did love all his games. Even though it wasn't one of them, it was kinda a game.
