Life above the city and in the clouds was beautiful and the air was clean compared to the smog down beneath the fluffy white clouds. Not that Fei was aware of this as he'd never ventured below the clouds before in his entire life and didn't really have any interest in doing so. There was really no point, right? It was what everyone told him that he'd ever encountered up in the clouds. The only thing that made him want to go down there was Valentine. Valentine was a servant for his family, offered the lofty title of Head of the Household Staff for the Xu family. He was very amazing.
"Skilled. Talented. Coveted by others."
"This is what text will look like?"
Exactly what the Xu family wanted to show themselves off to the other rich families up in the clouds. They were well aware that a lot of the other rich families wanted to poach Valentine from them but luckily he remained loyal to them which was quite a rare trait for someone like him to have. Fei Foon was no different from everyone else. But unlike others who wanted him to work for them or to use him in some other manner, the brunette didn't want anything from him at all, in fact Fei wanted the opposite. He only wanted to be the one who gave Valentine something nice instead.
To prove he was different from all of the others out there. Yet it was hard for Fei to be straightforward and honest to anyone. He always adopted a tsundere attitude, even though deep inside he had a heart of gold. Throughout the time Valentine had spent with the Xu family, Fei had left him lavish gifts within his quarters, things that he thought Valentine might like. There was no note and no way of telling who had given him such things. But as it was always left within Valentine's personal quarters, no one else dared take any items from inside the room, so it was safe to leave them.
Fei wasn't entirely certain why he did these things. He continued to randomly help Valentine behind the scenes, hiding who his benefactor was all the time. Fei had never confronted him directly about any of this so far and Valentine had never brought it up either. The young man wasn't even aware that he liked him in a romantic manner, he simply liked being around him and being able to do nice things for him. Today, Fei was sitting inside his bedroom, sketching a portrait of Valentine. Sketching, drawing and painting were things he really enjoyed doing and was actually very good at them.
It was only when a knock was heard at the door and a familiar voice spoke that Fei looked up and over at the door. He was dressed in his pajamas still, a simple black silk piece.
"You may enter." Fei called back and placed his sketchbook down to cover it with the sheets. He cleared his throat a little and swung his legs over the side of the bed as Valentine opened the door. If the other male was going to talk about his suit, he most likely had it with him and Fei didn't want Valentine to pull the covers down. That would reveal his unfinished sketch, something he didn't want him to see yet.
"Did you need to fit me?" He asked him.
