Oh, your home's gone, Nahele? Jeez, how'd that happen? Seems really crazy. You sure you wanna ask the people you accidentally killed who died about it???

I'm sure this will go perfectly fine, with no unforseen consequences whatsoever 😅

Oh by the way, each of the drinks has unforseen side-effects that can benefit you....or be quite entertaining for the others.

However, ONE of the drinks side-effects will lead you to new information. Choose wisely. Or don't.
Makes you wonder what will exacly happen when Nahele drinks that Ethereal Nectar. The side-effects however, only show when you drink it. Prepare those tastebuds people!
  1. Stardust Elixir: A sparkling, iridescent drink that shifts colors with every sip. Favored by the intergalactic travelers for its unique ability to induce pleasant hallucinations of celestial bodies.
  2. Dragon's Breath: A fiery concoction brewed from the essence of aetheric dragon scales. Known to leave a warm, tingling sensation and a faint trail of smoke with each exhale.
  3. Fae's Whisper: A delicate, luminescent beverage that glows softly in the dark. Made from enchanted forest herbs, it's said to grant temporary insight into the thoughts of others.
  4. Quantum Quencher: A vibrant, swirling liquid that seems to defy the laws of physics. Each sip offers a random burst of flavor, from the sweetest nectar to the most bitter brew, favored by those who crave unpredictability.
  5. Ethereal Nectar: A translucent, almost ghostly drink that promises a brief glimpse into the spirit realm. It's a favorite among those seeking to commune with lost loved ones or ancient spirits.

@SynfulDesire how many doors are on the beach rn?
Every living thinking individual has a door or window to there world, so on topside you would expect to come across at least 1 door every minute when you would walk around the island. The greynumbers are in the hundreds since there is a dungeon, mountain and the monstervillage. For now don't concentrate much on the doors as there is no actual way for you to open any of them. But you of course you can take a look around and see what type of doors there even are. I will tell you what these doors look like, should you come across some of them. I have the map (the one from the first post of the rp thread) edited and placed down little icons for myself to remember where they are.
(the total amount of doors to be explored is all up to you guys however!)

3 chances to guess what drink narita is going to take 😂

INCOMING POST! NO I AIN'T SHOUTING! JUST EMBRACING THE POWER OF THE TORGQUE COPERATION OF SHOOTING SH*T!
Did you forget to press send on that reply?

There's nothing wrong when you don't feel like it (counts for everyone) replies shouldn't be pushed or rushed, but we should really get going eventually because right now, everyone is probably either getting impatient or loses interest.

I was losing interest. Which is why I took a break off writing for a while since we all had taken our sweet time per Post.

Now to make sure that we all are on the same level, that we make process and that....something's happening, I would like to throw in some ideas as I was planning several other rp's for a while now. (Hey I said I do a writing break, not a brainstorm break >_>)

1. Bringing back the posting order. That would allow for consistency in prompting and replying.

2. I thought about providing actual prompts or rather goals for the group, how/when/why is your choice afterwards. Sound good? It's not supposed to give any restrictions, it's more of a sign that shows you what you need to do to proceed.

3. Weapons, items and powers: so far none of you tried to look for something, yet all there is, is on the island. Of course I didn't made it easy and threw YC's around like they were tennis balls going through portals. However, if you've read through the older RP posts and all, you might have noticed that LP has been inside of a temple before.....and started killing werewolves and demons. (Cybernetics unlocked by interacting with the temple)

4. I hope I'm not pushing you guys to much, but in any case, just talk and say it. It's much easier to just say, that you don't feel like it or that you may require help with your reply. I can provide you with extended information on the island, the enemies you encounter, locations you see around you, items around you, suspicious noises and anything a character might sense (smell, see, taste, hear)

Have a great day/night and feel free to DM me if there is anything I can help with.

super honest post, thanks for that @SynfulDesire. truthfully i've began losing interest with the lack of replies and upkeep, but i like writing with you lot and the character i've made, and so i try to muster up as much energy and passion as i can to continue onward. it's not push, it's just to ensure everyone is on the same page on the story, so i getcha. i for sure feel like the interest within myself isn't as strong as it used to be :( i don't want to drop out or anything as of yet though, i really wanna see where the story can continue to progress.

We are all part of this together, there really isn't any "this fault - that fault" going on, we all fucked up together and there is no denying.

Shit happens! :D

This is just what happens when lots and lots of stuff is coming together, one problem leads to another and everyone has already got there own little corners they are looking after. I only saw and witnessed it on the side by some, some went on hiatus and some don't find the time to reply currently.

And come on guys, we are fucking amazing and we can pull this shit off like noone else >_> I believe in us and so should you

trust me. We can all relate, the first half of 2024 wasn't as much fun for most on here (at least what I have seen and experienced in chat aswell. No worries really

it definitely has been difficult, especially since i had started a new job a few months ago and now i have to transition to another job while still working in my current position 💀 but even if it takes me days to respond, i don't want to allow myself to let anything go responded to for longer than expected 😭

Thank you for this inquiry, Syn!
I was losing interest. Which is why I took a break off writing for a while since we all had taken our sweet time per Post.
I'm sorry this happened 🥹🥹 Syn and LP are characters that make me smile every time i read!

I find all our characters enjoyable to read and would love to learn more about each and everyone! It would be amazing to explore the mysteries of the island with you!

For this rp I have not lost interest, but have been impatient, sometimes… (Even though i took my fine time to reply last time 💜 😭) the concept of the mystery island still has me intrigued and I can't wait to discover what more is in store for us.

And come on guys, we are fucking amazing and we can pull this shit off like noone else >_> I believe in us and so should you
This i believe too! 💕

The brainstorming was great!

If i understand this correctly, would you like us to take more initiative in exploring the island?😻 (not yet to monster ville! ;)

And then find stuff that will unlock our powers. How quickly would it be okay for us to unlock each power? like, after every this event, or so many events later it would be wise to have unlocked at least 1 or 2 powers for future adventures? or doesn't it matter as all long as we do?✨
2. I thought about providing actual prompts or rather goals for the group, how/when/why is your choice afterwards. Sound good? It's not supposed to give any restrictions, it's more of a sign that shows you what you need to do to proceed.
Therefore for me, i think this will help! Prompts or goals as a fine red line. I like it when i know there is a vague goal that needs to be completed. I'm also fine to take more initiative and let my character go on an adventure until she gets swayed away by a surprise adventure from the island. :3 i feel very safe here to write freely, and i love to writing in this rp.

Maybe it can help if we each say what we want our characters to do? Maybe it would help if we can see our characters' goals/desires/whises/aspirations/things or scenes we want our characters experience etc. to re-ignite the enthusiasm and excitement we had at the start?

For example, Narita needs to eat gold to unlock a power. Therefore I would like it if she goes with a party or everyone deliberately or undeliberately on an a treasure hunt! Maybe other characters can unlock some of their powers there too :D

I also like it that i don't know much yet of the island. It leaves a mystery that i think is fun to explore and unravel. When things get too easy, i get skeptical. The surprise adventure we did last time, was one i enjoyed!

100% agree, which is one of the reasons why i wanna keep going!!

yeah i know i've explored Devon's powers a bit when killing one of the werebeasts, but exploration and getting into more insane shenanigans would be helpful in pushing that out. im still curious about the island and the islanders and also getting Devon's (and Narita's) memories back!
