Cheshire Cat
Queen of the Parliament of Cats
The day has come, I will finish the thread and get my intro up to set the tone. The progression of intros will go something like this; 1-2 posts in character, and then I will post an "EVENT" post to set the wheels of the first plot arch in motion. I don't want to rush the action here, because so much of the emotional investment in the action, so much of what drives the characters, is based in their normal life. There are a few quotes from the comics that I keep in mind during writing for this project, >Ahem<
"A superhero is just an ordinary person who has found a better way to mask their human frailties."
-Steward Stafford, DC writer (I know, I know, shaddap)
and
"Just because you have superpowers, that doesn't mean your love life would be perfect. I don't think superpowers automatically means there won't be any personality problems, family problems or even money problems. I just tried to write characters who are human beings who also have superpowers."
-The late, great Stan Lee
Now ... off to waffle over my own post forever :P
