The day has come, I will finish the thread and get my intro up to set the tone. The progression of intros will go something like this; 1-2 posts in character, and then I will post an "EVENT" post to set the wheels of the first plot arch in motion. I don't want to rush the action here, because so much of the emotional investment in the action, so much of what drives the characters, is based in their normal life. There are a few quotes from the comics that I keep in mind during writing for this project, >Ahem<

Alright, Methistopheles has dropped from the project due to the business of life! We, once again, find ourselves with an open spot. The RP is going to start anyway, but we're now open to one final player again.

As for the story, I've decided on a primary antagonist for the plot, as well as the general progression of events;

Ignore the thread's current time of day, I'm going to be changing that a little. The break out at Rykers is going to occur at noon, the doors to every cell mysteriously opening to release all 14500 violent criminals willing to flee instead of waiting out their sentence, a good number of whom are known supervillains, a good number of whom more are yet to make their name. Fleeing through the city to their hideouts and old haunts, the news is flooded with reports of gunfire and correctional vehicles joyriding through the city, filled with escaped convicts. A short time later, every cellphone registered in New York City receives an alert from the mayor's office, announcing a state of emergency for the entire city, and a recommendation that anyone without good reason to be out and about stay inside after dark. Across the city, requests for volunteers go out, food banks, homeless shelters, women's shelters, seemingly every kind of non profit is struggling to keep people safe and off the street until things settle down. There is a lot of interaction in this field, and I would like everyone to submit 1-2 sentences about where your character would be at around 6pm, and what they would be doing. It's not super set in stone, but it will let me make a scenario without throwing people off their original game plans.

Post soon, I have my own post outline done. This will be the last round of questioning before RPing starts.
 
I regret to announce that we've also lost Exocat, may he RP in peace *makes the sign of the cross, whispers upward for what seems like a rather long time, offers a nod and a wink to the sky, and continues* So I guess we now have TWO open spots. Also, I'munna just post along the lines of what we've already discussed *nods*
 
6:00 PM, after the break at Rykers? Morgan would've already headed out to one of the shelters to try and help out. (Maybe also because her landlord locked down the building out of fear, trapping her outside.) She'd probably be in charge of keeping the power on or tracking supply shipments in the area.

@CasualAdventurer That's king of why I moved the time up. Writing at length about the breakout actually happening struck me as the logical place to start, but the idea of people just running out of their apartments to volunteer sounded like a bit of a stretch, so I gave it a few hours for the city to find out, realize the scope of the escape, set up countermeasures, and for crimes to start happening. Also for the characters to stew on their roles in all of this ^_^

I'mma post for Victoria now ... or try to, I still have something of a brain haze, but she's just getting off of work now.

ALSO, we might have a new player ^_^

I checked the rules, and it checks out. The "Mating" occurred while the other Were was in human form. Which is totally allowed by the Rules.
