I have no objections
I'm cool with another member if someone wants to join
I'm fine with letting him join.
Ok, that settles it, then. @iNoahGuy you're in!

Right I had a question about an idea for a power too. Would minor hallucination inducement be alright? Like making people see something, hear a noise, or feel something that isn't real. Wasn't planning on anything bigger than like seeing a cat run by or feeling a hand tap the shoulder but wanted to make sure you were okay with an ability that can affect people specifically as well as something that can affect more than one sense.
Yes, illusion is absolutely fine. You don't need to limit it to that extent, but of course you can have the ability grow stronger and more complex with time. Just be sure to have some reasonable drawback or weakness to it, at least at the beginning.

Hi, thank you so much for being willing to let me join. Working on a character sheet now. Just had a question about making a Normal character. For Primary Skills, should I put only one skill down or more? I was thinking of having a character that had good memory (nothing super) and attention to detail which could become fast learner for the Secondary Skills. Maybe quicker reaction speed too?

For a normal character, their primary skills would be the most notable/outstanding skills for them, ones that are already pretty well developed. Secondary skills would be other things they are good at but could get better. By the way, thanks for being the first one to play a normal character. :D

Edit: My final character is up.

Name: None given

Nickname/Alias: Kita Thompson

Age: 22

Picture:

Normal, Gifted, or Unknown: Gifted

Power/Primary Skills: Minor illusion - she can make people see, hear, or feel things that are not real. At the moment these can only be somewhat minor, like seeing a small animal run by or feeling a hand tap the shoulder. If the person is aware they are being deceived, however, the illusion will break. She also has outstanding fighting skills with blades and is a skilled gymnast.

Advanced Power/Secondary Skills: Major illusion - the ability to cause people to have much larger hallucinations, such as having a conversation with someone who isn't there or with a great deal of focus, changing the appearance of a room.

Alignment: Out for self

Occupation: Unemployed - takes up short term odd jobs to pay rent

Personality: She's a distant and gentle-mannered person who often seems almost eerily calm. She doesn't talk about herself openly, and if asked will just find a way to discreetly change the subject. While she can come across as cold-hearted a lot of the time, she is very protective of people she feels cannot handle themselves in dangerous situations and will take up an almost motherly attitude toward them.

Contacts: Alone in life

Brief Bio: She was born in South Korea as the daughter of a local prostitute and a businessman from the United States. She spent the first few months of her life in South Korea, living in a cheap apartment with her mother, though has no memory of that time because of how young she was. When she was roughly eight months old, her mother was shot dead in the apartment. Kita was abducted and taken to the US, and all documents of her existence were destroyed. In the States, she was raised in a bunker to be an assassin for a gang along with a large number of other abducted children. It was nearly two decades before she managed to make her escape, and has since given herself a fake name and laid low, attempting to live a relatively normal life.

Name: Daniel Dalton

Nickname/Alias: Dan

Age: 25

Appearance: See attached. Body is lanky; Librarian work isn't much of a workout and Daniel isn't a fan of the gym. 6 feet tall.

Normal, Gifted, or Unknown: Normal

Primary Skills: Excellent Memory, Sharp Attention to Detail

Secondary Skills: Reaction Speed, Dexterity

Alignment: Dan generally tries to look out for himself but do good as well. The law is generally written to be good, but he realizes that lawmakers and certain laws can be skewed and shouldn't be followed. In terms of the Character Alignment System, think Lawful Neutral.

Occupation: Librarian

Personality: Daniel is a quiet and polite individual, as are many librarians. Patient and slow to anger, Daniel usually keeps most ill wishes to himself. This librarian also loves to help and teach others. Often times he extends his services to patrons of the library who seem puzzled or in need of help. One passion, that Daniel tries his best to keep under wraps, is his interest with the supernatural. Fantastical abilities seen in comic books or movies often fill Daniel's imagination. He knows that people with superhuman strength or incredible sense are simply fiction, so far, but would jump at the opportunity to learn about them. Generally, Daniel likes quietness, fantasy-genre books, helping others, taking his time, sweet foods, and learning. Dislikes include being rushed, bitter or sour foods, rambunctious people, not being informed, randomness, and closed-mindedness.

Contacts:
Family - Daniel is an only child who is well on his own. He does keep in contact and occasionally visit his retired parents.
Friends - A handful of other librarians, other supernatural nerds, past students
Romantic - Open for a relationship

Brief Bio:
Daniel's love for fantasy/sci-fi/anything supernatural started when he was young in elementary school where books he read fed his active imagination. This interest also developed a hobby of reading. Understanding textbooks was easier for him so Daniel did well in school. Afraid of being bullied/alienated for his interests, Daniel kept his passion for the supernatural to himself for most of his schooling. After completing his college degree, Daniel knew that the quiet career of a Librarian suited him. Plus, he would have easy access to books for his imagination.

I know It's cliche, but we really need someone to play either a reporter, a cop, or a scientist. This cast is shaping up to be really interesting though, and I can hardly wait to get started!

Is anyone still working on characters, or are we ready?

I'm ready to begin as well

Want to hear from Sanity and Lochem first, but yeah. Since the update has been put off until evening, let's plan on starting tomorrow.

Sorry, I've had a busy little while. Also, I don't think I am getting notifications for this thread lol. I'll change the clone to a reporter. It would work perfectly. (Can get multiple stories at once)

Finishing the characters info is my first priority tonight!

Hey, that sounds awesome, and funny too.

Ok, I think we are on the mirror site right now, so everybody save your post. That way we can have a smoother transition. I will post the starter sometime today and save it on my computer if possible. If not we can wait one more day, no biggie.

About to write the starter, guys. Just debating where to put it.
